Sweet Little Butterfly

Isn't she just adorable???

"Huh?  What's in here?"

"Mmmm!" (gulp, gulp.)

Fluttershy, or Butterfly, as my brother and I affectionately call her,

is made with Minky Smooth with a 3 mm pile.  She is stuffed with polypropylene "beanie" pellets and hypo-allergenic fiber fill.

She is hand-made, with machine embroidered eyes and wing/hair details.

"Tickle my tummy?"

"No, you're distracting me,  I'm trying to describe you to my readers right now."

"Okay, I can be patient."

Anyway...

Shy's pattern was designed as a way to make a more affordable, (but equally cute! plushie.)

I used to think when I just started, "Why in the world are plushies so expensive?"  But as I continued and learned how time consuming it is, (not to mention minky being incredibly expensive per yardage) I wanted to come up with a plushie that was less expensive for me to make and for you to pay!

I am currently working on a Twilly and Derpy for further examples of the pattern before commissions will be opened for this pony type.
